The dual shelled body of the AMSEC fire and theft rated BFII6030 Gun Safe encloses a proprietary DryLight concrete insulation eliminating the use of gypsum board and forming a solid theft barrier from outside attacks. The door consists of a 1/2" steel plate combined with 2" DryLight insulation for barrier from attacks and fire. Because of this manner of construction and the fact that it is equipped with a U.L. listed Group II combination lock and protected by massive hard plate means the safe has been awarded the U.L. Residential Security Container (RSC) Level II burglary classification. This safe has a combined steel thickness of 1/2" in body construction. The inner steel has a 12 gauge formed liner plus a 4 gauge plate liner. This adds 359 pounds from the standard safe and is your assurance of quality and protection. In addition it uses TL-15 boltwork. It has the same bolt pattern as the AMVAULT TL-15's, 5 active and 5 dead. No top or bottom bolts.

Safe opening, lock replacement and maintenance
When my double doomed safe with many important documents etc in it wouldn’t open I was anxious to say the least. (Mine and my husband’s passports and COVID vaccine cards for starters). I googled several different ways – left a couple messages and never heard anything back. Then I found Simon – who came the same day – and completely fixed everything!!! He is very thorough and professional and so nice. He also told me upfront what the cost would be! Simon rescued us!!!

After my father passed I didn’t know the combo to opening his safe. I thought I was going to have to destroy the safe by sawing it open. But he came made a small hole opened it told me the combo. Fast, efficient, friendly, I know I’ll be referring them to a friend if the situation ever comes up again.

We lost the key and the combination to my mom’s Brinks Fire Safe. Simon arrived at the time scheduled – 4PM. He took a look at the safe and gave me his quotes. I told him I didn’t care if the safe was damaged during the process. This was not the first time the key or combination for that darn safe were misplaced. Less than 30 minutes later my mom’s safe was open. Simon is a very gentle, polite man and my experience was genuinely a pleasure. Maria drove 90 min immediately upon receiving my plea for help. Had to cut into safe to open as I was an idiot forgetting my code and then completely screwed up the lock mechanism disabling key access. Got a new door from safe company and will be back to having a functional safe

I was looking for a solid case to occasionally store valuables and my concealed carry weapon while I was out and about (if I was going somewhere where those items were restricted). I had previously used other cases such as the stack-on cases and they worked well for smaller guns. I recently upgraded and as far as fit and function go I can say that this case fits:

Bought the vault to hold a Ruger LCP for traveling. Fits perfectly and also holds an additional magazine, knife, money/wallet or papers. Sometime you see the unsafe "gun free" zone poster at businesses, school, or government locations, so this a great alternative so you can secure your weapon in your car and not break the law. Unfortunately, I'm worried every time I put my weapon in the vault when I go to a "gun free" place as the "crazies" know the law and never follow it. They always go on a killing spree in "gun free" zones. I always try not to give my money to businesses that have "gun free" posters. The lock is only a three digit lock and if someone wanted to break into it and had enough time, they could probably crack the combination lock. Still a great vault and you don't have to carry a key. I actually bought two!

I love the product so far. The only complaint that i have is that it smells like a Mexican work shop inside it.... it literally made my whole car smell like i just cooked tacos or something. It also made my gun smell. My wife cloth diapers our child, so she knows how to strip clothes in the wash really well, so she stripped the foam for me. That helped. It might smell, but im just glad my Lock is secure around my 2 year old now.

I'm using it as a temporary storage at the house until I get a decent size vault, and regularly take it with me in the car trunk whenever I go to the range. With the cable, it's an additional assurance that your gun will not easily walk away even if they get to your trunk. I'm able to fit two compacts in it (S&W M&P Shield and Glock G43, both with trigger-mounted lasers), less the magazines (which I store/transport separately anyway). It has a good weight to it and the locks have been functioning the way it should, so it's a good buy for the price!

I wanted to let you all know how pleased I am with my vault door. It takes a lot of talent and teamwork to produce a vault door of that quality. I really appreciated you meeting me in West Virginia at your cabin and bringing the vault door,that worked out great,I only had to drive 20 miles to pick it up! It has been a really positive experience from start to finish with your company,and also the fact that my vault door is American made was better yet. My father and I installed the door today and it looks great!

Works as advertised. Not cheap in my humble opinion, will stop a drive by attempt. Bolt cutters, maybe heavy duty wire cutters like linemans plyers, could cut the cable. Other than a custom car safe though this is pretty good. The latch is all metal and comes with set up instructions for the code.

This is actually a great little gun box for the price. It holds my Glock 22 and one additional clip with no issue. I use this simply to make sure grandchildren or others don't have easy access to my guns. If someone wanted to steal the gun the box is not going to stop them but it gives me piece of mind that no one can easily get access as the 3 digit combination lock prevents it. Works great for what I wanted.

This a great product. It fits my gun and mags just right. Also I love the combo. I don't have mess with, fumble through, or find any keys. It's also nice that it comes with a steel security cable. So I know it can't be removed from where I place. The only thing that I have trouble with, but isn't a problem, is that's it's a little heavy. But not a deal breaker to me
