Portable Table Saw
DEWALT DWE7480XA 10 in. Portable Table Saw with Table Saw Stand
The DEWALT DWE7480XA 10 in. Portable Table Saw with Table Saw Stand features rack and pinion telescoping fence rails which allows users to make fence adjustments fast, smooth, and accurate. 24-1/2 inch of rip easily cuts a variety of larger shelving and trim materials. The Site-Pro Modular Guarding System allows for tool-free adjustments of the guarding components appropriate for each application. The durable 15 Amp 4800 rpm motor quickly rips through hardwoods with ease. A 24-Tooth carbide blade enhances cut quality and prolongs blade life and the blade can be adjusted 0 - 45 degrees for bevel applications. This system uses 10 in. blades with a 5/8 in. arbor size. The adjustable rear feet are designed to level the saw on uneven work surfaces and table coating reduces friction for smoother cutting. There is a dust port that allows for 2-1/2 inch vacuum hook up and minimizes clean up. The metal roll cage base offers greater durability than plastic bases. This table saw features on-board storage that provides easy access to the Site-Pro Guarding components and push stick when not in use. This unit also includes a DW7450 Table Saw Stand which features heavy-duty tube steel construction to maximize its durability, and has integral support bar hardware holes that can be used to secure the saw to the stand. This stand folds flat for easy storage and transport. The DWE7480XA ships in two boxes which consist of the DWE7480 Table Saw, and the DWE7450 Table Saw Stand. This combo also includes: (1) Miter gauge, (1) Push stick, (1) 10 Carbide Blade, (1) Blade guard, and (1) Hardware bag.

Great tool!
Arrived fast and has already been used several times. Batteries charge quickly, and drills, driver, light, saw, and reciprocating tool are powerful and easy to handle. Speaker is an unexpected delight!

Now I can keep building stuff really badly, crooked, and not professionally, but with great tools.

The drill and driver is not that heavy, and I was able to finish a lot of things in our new house. The light on the driver is a nice feature when working in low-light areas. The battery seems to last long since I have not charged it again after the initial full charge, but I only use it occasionally. It’s very easy to use with the quick-release of the battery. All in all, this performs better than I expected, and the price is lower than buying in-store.

The LED ring light is reason enough to get this impact drill. The surplus of power is just a bonus to me. Some features are easy to use, so are a little more complicated, but you learn them as you use them. I feel the Makita quality is second to none in the Impact & Drill sphere.

These tools have been fantastic. The new XDT20 has worked flawlessly and the ring light really steps up working in poor lighting situations.

The drill is awesome, but there is a problem when I charge the battery. I heard a crackling sound, then the light flashed once. I removed the plug and plugged it again, but the charger doesn't work; the drill and battery are in good condition.

I expected this saw to be good quality, but was pleasantly surprised that it was ready to go out of the box aside from adjusting the throat plate to be level with the top. The top itself is flat according to an actual straight edge calibrated to 0.002" over 38 inches. The blade was square to the top, and even the rule for the fence was spot on. Been making full-depth cuts, ripping white oak, and it's doing well. Of course, it's not as fast as the high-dollar cabinet saws, but it does the job. Impressed.

Got this unit on sale and love it. had to downsize from a 240V contractor-style saw because of limited space in my small shop. This saw seems to be doing a great job so far and was accurate out of the box

I bought this for a bathroom remodeling project and this saw is nothing less than awesome. It did an amazing job helping me cut through my old fiberglass tub and shower inserts. Very satisfied.
- Reviewed by Ted Keels on November 12, 2023, 7:11 amThe Best Reciprocating Saw I Have Used
Absolutely fantastic! Light, yet sturdy, no cord, convenient and fast cutting. This is a huge win for any project where you don't have a plug nearby. The chuck design is excellent with super quick release blade exchange and no little screw to tighten with a special wrench (that always gets lost) as so many other reciprocating saws have. The blade stays in well, and the front is adjustable for different tip lengths and angles. It cuts quickly and stops immediately once you let go of the trigger, which is a good safety feature. If you are already using DEWALT tools and have the batteries, getting the bare tool is a good cost saver. If you are new to DEWALT, it may be best to get one with the battery and charger, or if buying a battery separately, look for a minimum of 3AH battery. Less than that will run through really quickly.
